(GAME SUMMARY)

Drake says: "Each player receives their own puzzle board and 12 tiles, all shaped differently. A die indicates which tiles will have to be placed on each player's board. Then, each player tries to place their tiles and solve the puzzle as fast as possible. The fastest player shouts "Ubongo!" and advances their pawn on the common game board and takes two jewels. Meanwhile the other players continue to solve their puzzle and eventually collect jewels. The player who has collected the most jewels of one color is the winner! And that player won't necessarily always be the fastest."

Ubongo is fast. It’s pretty. It’s completely lacking in strategy and (almost completely) in decisions. And it’s fun. It’s a riot. You should definitely give it a try, if you get the chance. Not all <a href="http://playingboardgames.com/">board games</a> can be picked up so easily. The publisher KOSMOS has wisely picked up on the mainstream appeal of the game, and didn’t save any pennies in the production values. It's great for non-gamers as it's easy to pick up and fun to play. I give it 4 our of 5 stars.
