Roma Card Game

(GAME SUMMARY)

Drake says: "In Roma, players take turns rolling 3 dice and using them to activate their cards, take money, or draw cards. They may also spend money to play cards to open spaces or to replace a card already played. Players will want to fill the 6 slots quickly, since they must give up a victory point for each open space at the beginning of their turn. Cards allow you to attack/destroy opponent’s cards, gain victory points, and many other useful actions. The goal of the game is to accumulate more victory points than your opponent AND/OR facilitate your opponent’s complete depletion of his/her victory points."

(TIPS/COMMENTS)

John says: "Roma's box claims 30-45, but the game often plays in 10-20 minutes. Roma has unique mechanics and though dice are part of the game, luck is not the decisive factor in this game. The cards have top-notch characters and artwork."

Stefan Feld

Description:

Rome is in a state of emergency, the Senate and the Guard are embroiled in fierce arguments, the people are divided. Many roads lead to Rome, whether you decide to use powerful cards such as the Tower and the Praetorian Guard to protect the power and victory points you have, or instead prefer to Consul and the Tribune to skilfully pull the strings behind the scenes.
